Tranquil Balance NP in Psychiatry offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for adults 18 and over. All services are provided 100% via Telehealth for your convenience and privacy.

You will be working directly with Jairo Cordero, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with extensive experience in adult mental health care.

What should I expect during the first appointment?

The initial appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, lasting approximately 60 minutes. We’ll discuss your mental health history, current concerns, and treatment goals to create a personalized care plan.

Do you offer therapy?

Jairo Cordero offers psychotherapy, including supportive and talk therapy, as part of his treatment approach. For individuals seeking more specialized or intensive therapy, we are happy to provide referrals to trusted and qualified therapists.

What conditions do you treat?

We specialize in treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and alcohol use disorder in adults.

What are your self-pay rates?

For individuals without insurance, the initial intake evaluation is $300. Follow-up appointments (30 minutes) are $150.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that all cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed appointments are subject to a $50 fee.

Yes. We currently accept Anthem BCBS of New York, BCBS of Massachusetts, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health.
